Web design is something completely different from print design. There are two main characteristics of nicely done website: design and usability.

It is known that people who use internet, that means all of us, are very impatient. A few milliseconds are enough to attract or repel a visitor. No matter how important the data is, if visual is bad, the website will be forgotten. Maybe more than in any other medium, website design must establish a clear connection between visual elements and company's products, services or activities.

If we are successful at design, then we have an opportunity to exercise part two: usability. An aforementioned impatience forces us to design websites with clear and concise navigation. A user may spend a whole day on our website, but she sure will not spend whole day clickin' just to open the second page. As the website grows, usability may become a nightmare. We know that. From experience.
